Mental health impacts the way we think, feel and behave. I believe that by gaining the proper tools, and skills we can acquire greater self-awareness to make more positive and healthier choices.
As a Ghanaian-American, my goal is to provide a safe environment for all by being culturally responsive. I use an integrative approach based on evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Interventions, and Empowerment. My goal is to promote mental health through psychoeducation, to remove stigmas.
I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration at Montclair State University in 2016. I am currently completing my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, and I will graduate in the Spring of 2021. I am also a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA).
I look forward to starting a new journey of progress with you
